1. Agreement to these terms
These terms govern your access to and use of Oswalo. They apply to everyone who uses the app or the site. You also agree to follow Apple's usage rules that come with the App Store. If you're using Oswalo on behalf of an organization, you're agreeing to these terms on its behalf.
2. The license we give you
We give you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Oswalo on Apple devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use. You may not copy, resell, rent, reverse-engineer, or attempt to extract the underlying models or software, except where the law expressly allows it. This license is granted by us, not by Apple.
3. Your account and eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Oswalo. If an account is required, you agree to give accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and take responsibility for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been used without your permission.
4. Acceptable use
Use Oswalo only for lawful, personal rehearsal. Don't use it to break the law, harass or harm others, upload content you don't have the right to use, probe or breach our security, share your access, or scrape or extract the app's content or models. We may suspend or end access that violates these terms.
5. Your rehearsals, privacy, and content
Oswalo is built to be private. A rehearsal is meant to be a private room, not a permanent file, and Oswalo does not build a profile of how you speak. You are responsible for what you choose to say during a rehearsal and for not including other people's confidential information you're not permitted to share.
You keep ownership of what you say. To operate the app — for example, to voice the other side and respond in real time — you grant us the limited permission needed to process your rehearsal content for that purpose and for the retention period described in our Privacy Policy.
6. Subscription and billing
Oswalo is offered as a subscription: $19.99 / month or $119 / year. A free session is available to try Oswalo before you subscribe. Prices are shown in the app and may vary by region and over time.
Subscriptions are sold and billed through your Apple ID via the App Store, subject to Apple's terms. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it renews. Manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID settings — deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. If we change the price, we'll give notice as required, and any increase applies to future periods.
7. Refunds
Because Oswalo is sold through the App Store, purchases and renewals are handled by Apple and are generally final. Refund requests are made to Apple through your Apple ID, and are subject to Apple's policies. Any refund rights the law gives you in your region still apply.
8. Intellectual property
Oswalo, including its name, mascot, design, software, and the models behind it, belongs to us and our licensors and is protected by law. These terms don't transfer any of those rights to you beyond the license in section 2. You keep the rights to your own rehearsal content.
9. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using Oswalo you agree to that policy. Please don't enter information you'd be uncomfortable processing through an app.
10. What Oswalo is not — AI and no professional advice
Oswalo uses AI to voice the other side of a conversation and respond in real time. AI can be wrong, and the other side's responses are generated, not real. Oswalo does not score you, rate you, or give feedback or a verdict.
Oswalo is a rehearsal tool. It is not therapy, counseling, coaching, legal advice, or a medical or mental-health service, and it is not a substitute for any of them. If you are in crisis or need professional help, contact a qualified professional or your local emergency services.
11. Support and availability
We provide support for Oswalo — Apple has no obligation to. Reach us at support@oswalo.com. We work to keep Oswalo available and working well, but we don't guarantee it will always be uninterrupted or error-free, and we may change or discontinue features.
12. Warranties and limitation of liability
Oswalo is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent the law allows. We don't warrant that it will meet your needs or produce any particular result. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for Oswalo in the 12 months before the claim. Some places don't allow certain limitations, so parts of this may not apply to you.
13. Indemnification
You agree to cover us for claims, losses, and reasonable costs arising from your misuse of Oswalo, your rehearsal content, or your breach of these terms, to the extent the law allows.
14. Termination
You can stop using Oswalo at any time. Remember that cancelling your subscription is separate from deleting the app or any account — cancel through your Apple ID to stop future charges. We may suspend or end your access if you violate these terms or to protect the service or other users.
15. Governing law and Apple
These terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. You and Apple agree that Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these terms and may enforce them against you. Apple is not responsible for Oswalo or for any claims relating to it, including product-liability, legal-compliance, or intellectual-property claims, which are our responsibility as described above.
16. Communications
We may send you transactional messages needed to run the service (for example, about your subscription). We may also send service updates you can opt out of. You're responsible for keeping any contact details you give us accurate.
17. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as Oswalo evolves. When we make material changes, we'll update the date at the top and, where appropriate, give notice. Continuing to use Oswalo after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
